Job Description:


In your day-to-day role, you will:

  • Leads backend development for the team by working with functional leads and Architects.
  • Participate in the full development lifecycle, including design, coding, automated testing, and releases.
  • Able to find and fix performance, scalability, and other live issues in a timecritical environment.
  • Prototype ideas quickly using cuttingedge technologies.
  • Communicate effectively to peers and leadership on tasks and projects.
  • Collaborate closely with product, architecture, and other crossfunctional teams to deliver compelling solutions.

What do you need to bring:

  • 8+ years of experience with Python or equivalent high-level programming language.
  • Advanced skills with RDBMS and NoSQL data stores, caching solutions and messaging/queuing protocols/systems such as SQS/Kafka/RabbitMQ/Pulsar.
  • Ability to lead projects and mentor all levels of engineering staff, along with managing relationships with Product, Engineering Operations and nontechnical business and support teams.
  • Experience in architecting and developing faulttolerant distributed services and backend systems, scaling to support millions of users with high concurrency.
  • DevOps mindset and expertise with building services on public cloud
  • AWS, GCP, Azure.

Language requirement:


  • Proficient (B2: Upper-Intermediate) in both written and spoken English.
