Operational Excellence Manager LATAM
Your Tasks & Responsabilities

This position reports to the Head of Operational Excellence and is responsible to drive Operational Excellence strategy for LATAM PS organization While doing that, this role needs to work together with LATAM PS Lead Team which consists of site heads and regional functional heads as well another regional OE leader.
Build, implement, monitor, and improve OE Management System (PSS) including the OE strategy/objective development, guiding the LATAM OE development and deployment in a sustainable fashion (including digital agenda)
Define and lead the implementation of PS strategy in LATAM to transform the organization by accelerating results such as Service Level to customers, Capacity Utilization and Cost Savings to deliver industry topclass results
Support sites to sustainably achieve their targets (including financial targets) and to realize improvement potential based on benchmarking results (e.g., POBOS)
Lead establishment of OE ownership at LATAM network (including CMOs)
Challenge and enable sites to execute agreed OE initiatives and to create new initiatives
Be responsible for ongoing projects (one of the projects is sponsored by ExCo and closely monitored) within LATAM to generate value and rollout to all other LATAM sites to double the value generation.
Lead development of inhouse OE expertise (e.g., establish and conduct OE trainings, inhouse and implementation of OE initiatives in LATAM Execute deepdive onthefloor consulting sessions with site leadership to update site business & pillar plans
Deliver Operation Excellence Phase Progression with systemic capability improvement (Work processes, Tools, Skills) in the sites
Lead collection and reporting of OE KPIs in LATAM
Implement and administrate collaborations (university and others) to identify new OE trends
Inform management and organization of important OE trends and initiatives (external/internal benchmarks)
Be responsible for Manufacturing work stream of an ongoing E2E Supply Chain transformation to deliver excellent service and inventory results.
Additionally, this position supports Head of LATAM PS Regional Head in utilization of OE strategy and deployment. initiatives (external/internal benchmarks)

Who You Are:

Master ́s or equivalent degree in Engineering, Science and/or Business discipline
Longterm experience: Several >7 years' experience in OTC, pharmaceutical or FMCG industry (manufacturing, packaging or operations) as well as other related work experiences e.g. in consultancy or operational excellence function (line function, projects)
Very good understanding of chemical and pharmaceutical processes and GMP requirements
Significant and proven experience in the implementation of operational excellence programs/projects as well as qualification as e.g., lean expert (M/F/d), Six Sigma Green, Black or Master Black Belt or similar qualification
Strong analytical and problemsolving skills and experience in serving as a strategic partner (M/F/d) to build, grow and maintain profitable and longlasting relationships with key accounts
Very good interpersonal, intercultural and communication skills
Ability to build strong relationships with sites and project teams and to foster open dialogue
