    The purpose of this role is to take ownership and control of all facilities services delivered to Company offices in Mexico, with budgetary management for the performance of the services delivered. Working closely with senior stakeholders across the business to deliver the necessary level of support to ensure that all facilities systems and services operate effectively and efficiently. To support the long-term strategic property goals and requirements of the business creating a work environment that is designed to meet the needs of our employees.

    MAJOR ACTIVITIES

    Work with senior management and finance as part of the annual business planning cycle to anticipate and meet future facilities requirements and ongoing control of costs within agreed budgets, with regular analysis and reporting

    Ensure that safety is paramount to all operations carried out within Company facilities; promote a safe and secure working environment for Company staff and guests; ensure all statutory requirements are met and logs maintained; administer in-house security system including master key records and distribution and monitoring of employee access cards

    Supervision and Management of any applicable facilities staff, service providers and contractors to ensure best value and service delivery

    Partner with Finance / Procurement to source the best resources and negotiate favorable contracts

    Deliver best allocation and utilization of space and resources within the Company facilities and manage full life-cycle of facilities projects (preparing project scope of work, updating auto-cad drawings, obtaining quotations for tender bidding, etc.)

    Work with Human Resources and other departments to support the cultural imperatives of the Company and create, within reason, an environment that enhances the employee experience

    AREAS OF ACCOUNTABILITY

    Ensure that landlord rules and regulations are followed and all lease obligations are met in a timely manner.

    Managing the relationship with our external facilities vendors and resources.

    Working under minimal direction with significant responsibility you will be confident in making strategic decisions working alongside internal and external stakeholders.

    Management of both capital and operating budgets relating to facility maintenance.

    QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Broad knowledge and at least 6 years of experience in Facilities Management
  • Fluent in Spanish and English
  • Experience leading people
  • Diploma or equivalent experience in College graduate with diploma in FM or business administration
  • Experience in Occupancy and human factors
  • Broad knowledge and experience in in Operations and maintenance
  • General knowledge of Real Estate
  • Ability to Adept problem solver
  • Experience in Risk management
  • Communication skills
  • Knowledge in health and safety
