OVERVIEW
Ensure quality policy and procedures are implemented to provide quality product that meets design parameters in the process.
EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION
Professional Career in Mechanical, Electrical or Industrial Engineering.
Minimum 2 years in Quality Control of Manufacturing Processes
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND CERTIFICATIONS
80% bilingual.
SPC
Knowledge of ISO9000
Control Plans and FMEA.
Leadership.
Geometric Tolerances.
Computer skills at Microsoft.
Problem solving techniques.
Statistical techniques.
PFMEA, DOE, QFD, PPAP.
Good analytical skills.
Knowledge about composition of materials.
MAIN TASK AND RESPONSABILITIES
Provide leadership for Quality control and Non-Conforming Product
Resolution of problems with suppliers and clients.
Support the corrective action system (internal and external).
Provide technical support to Mfg. Eng. and Mfg. In terms of product quality and its function within the design.
Quality caliber requirement for processes.
Provide leadership to engineers and quality control technicians.
Works closely with engineering and manufacturing on capacity studies, gauge R&R, and DOE.
Any other duties or responsibilities as assigned by the department supervisor.
Performs security-related activities.
Participate in compliance with the QMS (Quality Management System) determined for their function in relation to ISO 9001:2015.
Complete planned training related to Quality and Training on time.
Identify and report any quality and compliance issues and support corrective actions.
Comply with safety rules determined according to your role.
