Job Description:

Core to Rockwell's culture is the creation of fresh ideas to help our customers succeed. The Global Innovation and Value Acceleration team is focused on delivering value-driven innovation for our customers.

This is done by creating methodologies, executing experiments, building prototypes to find the quickest way to prove new ideas, technologies, and business models in diverse real-world industrial environments.

We use experimentation as the "tip of the spear" to innovate with our customers, partners, business units, and subsidiaries. Key Job Responsibilities
Lead and participate in deep architectural design discussions to ensure your prototypes are crafted for success. Drive technical and business strategy around complex, cloud-native, distributed platforms.

Be a thought leader for your area of domain expertise across customer innovation. Share best-practice knowledge among the broader Rockwell community. Continue to evolve technical skills with continuous learning of emerging industry trends.

Author or contribute to customer-facing publications such as whitepapers, blogs, etc.


Act as a technical contact between customers, our sales team, professional services teams, and other stakeholders also involved in the engagements.


Qualifications
4+ years of experience leading Cloud and/or IoT platforms on cloud-native, distributed architectural solutions in complex environments.

Strong technical ability, willingness to learn and evolve your skills with advances in technology.

Excellent problem-solving skills and demonstrated ability to break down complexity.

Experience with DevOps and Agile methodologies.

Proven ability to deliver innovative prototypes that meet or exceed customer expectations. Track record of success driving adoption of disruptive technologies across diverse industries.

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or other relatable discipline


Preferred Qualifications
4+ years of experience in defining scalable patterns and practices for data pipelines and supporting data platforms.

Understand object-oriented programming and have familiarity with source control systems like Git.

Knowledge of common container management, orchestration and build tools such as Docker, OpenShift, Kubernetes, Ansible, CloudFormation, and Maven.

Familiarity with Cloud Infrastructure and Scalability/Security Implications for Virtual Machines, Serverless Designs, and Software Defined Networks.

Understanding of industry trends in technologies for public, private, and hybrid cloud deployments.

Strong customer-facing experience in software, hardware or integrated systems design and delivery.

Effective written, verbal, and presentation skills.

Azure and/or AWS Certification

Advanced degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or other relatable discipline or related experience.
