- Assist senior scientists with specific phases of projects and provide advice and consulting services within the scope of scientific knowledge.
- Draw conclusions and make recommendations based on analysis and data interpretation.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations by comparing findings to relevant studies and regulations.
- Work under general supervision and contribute to the development of environmental sustainability projects.
- Bachelor's degree in Biology, Environmental Engineering, or a related field, plus 2 years of experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
- Experience performing environmental field work, environmental impact assessment, risk assessment, and ISO 9000.
- Strong written and spoken communication skills, with the ability to use spreadsheets, word processing, and standard office software.
- Organization and time management skills, with a strong interest in environmental sustainability and social responsibility.
- Flexibility to work on a variety of technical projects, with a positive attitude, willingness to learn, and a commitment to workplace health and safety.
- 5 years of experience in environmental projects, social projects, or specific offshore or hydrocarbon projects.
- Bilingual: fluent Spanish and English.
