About Volindo:
Volindo is a Travel Tech Startup with the mission to create the first Super app for the travel industry.

We are building a robust solution that includes a Social Feed for travelers, a high-tech CRM for travel agents designed to simplify communication with clients.

You will join a dynamic and fast-paced environment and work with multicultural teams to design, build and roll-out product versions that deliver the company's vision and strategy with no less than stunning user experience.

We have offices in Dubai & Mexico.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; a Master's degree is a plus.
3+ years of experience in data engineering, including handson experience with workflow management platforms such as Apache Airflow.
Strong proficiency in SQL, Python, and other programming languages commonly used in data engineering.
Indepth knowledge of various database systems, including relational, columnar, and NoSQL databases.
Experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, or Flink is a plus.
Familiarity with data integration tools and techniques, including ETL/ELT, data warehousing, and data modeling.
Solid understanding of cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure) and related data storage and processing services.
Strong problemsolving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex technical concepts to both technical and nontechnical stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain scalable, highperformance data pipelines using workflow management platforms, such as Apache Airflow, to ensure the timely and accurate delivery of data.
Integrate and consolidate data from various sources, including databases, APIs, and file systems, while ensuring data quality and consistency.
Optimize and enhance existing data pipelines by implementing data transformation, validation, and errorhandling processes.
Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and other stakeholders to identify data requirements, develop data models, and provide data solutions that support business initiatives and objectives.
Implement data storage solutions and manage data warehousing infrastructure to ensure the availability, reliability, and accessibility of data.
Monitor data pipelines and perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and performance tuning to guarantee uninterrupted data flow.
Stay uptodate with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve data engineering practices and adopt new tools and techniques when appropriate.
Document data engineering processes, data models, and data dictionaries to facilitate knowledge sharing and collaboration across teams.
Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations and company policies by implementing robust data security measures and access controls.
