The Project Engineer is responsible for planning and monitoring productivity projects.

This role includes planning, executing, and monitoring project progress, setting deadlines, solving issues that arise, managing capital requests, and ensuring stakeholder satisfaction.

Responsibility and Authority

Evaluate project feasibility.
Develop and Plan the Project Idea.
Establish a deadline and monitor the progress of the project.
Identify and resolve issues that arise.
Ensure Stakeholder Satisfaction.
Evaluate Project Performance.
Develop and train on PM tools.
Analyzes components and products using existing essential analytical tools and methods to improve existing designs, manufacturability, and expand existing product lines.
Design and/or improve processes and products.
Specifies basic standards for engineering and project management.
Support Manufacturing and Commercial Operations groups as well as external customers in technical requirements involving Products, Components, and Engineering Specifications.

Education and Experience

Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Material Engineering, or equivalent is required.

Project Management

Product design or project procedures.
Proven results leading Product or Process costout projects.
4 or more years of experience in a similar role in a manufacturing setting.
Spanish as a second language a plus.
