As a
Lead Safety & Risk (Process Engineer) you will support Chief Engineer to manage of safety & risk department, and acting as Lead Engineer for projects to support strategic business growth.

What you'll do
The role responsibilities include:


  • To ensure all design work is safe and carried out in a safe manner
  • Carry out the Technical Integrity role for the process safety, Ensure all design work conforms to the codes and standards used by the client, or to agreed industry standards.
  • Develop and maintain a quality design threshold for the discipline through use of understandable quality procedures
  • Technical direction, advice and control of the work.
  • Liaison with client discipline representatives to establish technical direction where not provided by codes & standards
  • Coordination and preparation of input to Essential Documents, as defined by the client/ contract. Where responsibility for update of the Master Documents is handed to the Lead Discipline Engineer, procedures shall be put in place to maintain document integrity
  • Assisting asset/client Lead Project Engineers in the definition of the engineering work in any project, design approach and criteria, procedures for engineering work and timely production of deliverables
  • Complete a complex design activities including simulation

What you'll have

  • Bachelor of Chemical Engineering or with experience in Oil & Gas industry.
  • Strong and broad technical background in Safety & Risk Engineering
  • HAZOP, HAZID and SIL Studies
  • Experienced with international best practice for development of offshore safety cases and working in a formal regulatory regime for statutory safety approvals by government appointed regulation authorities
  • Develop hazardous area classification drawings, fire & gas layouts, escape route, fire protection and safety equipment layouts and P&IDs and utility flow diagrams for fixed installed fire protection systems.
  • Front End Design experience covering project scope development and cost and schedule estimating.
  • Given the necessity of interacting with Thaispeaking clients, Thai language is essential.
