    We are seeking a Supply Chain Specialist who ensures the performance of a supply chain from order to shipment to billing and customer service.

    This includes identifying and ordering the proper quantity, negotiating pricing, and tracking the timely delivery of materials needed to fulfill customer orders.

    Responsibilities

    • Buy and manage inventory investment to maximize fill rates and inventory turns.
    • Develop, monitor, and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs).
    • Design and implement purchasing strategies, such as economic order quantities (EOQ) and safety stock levels.
    • Assess and manage inventory levels to ensure continuity of supply and place purchase orders as necessary to support the business.
    • Analyze proposed purchase orders using applicable information, including forecast, historical demand, stocks, and inventory turns metrics.
    • Set up and maintain ERP master data.
    • Prepare operations and supply chain analysis reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information.
    • Manage vendor analysis, including vendor performance, optimal pricing, quality, and delivery.
    • Cultivate and procure positive and professional vendor relationships.
    • Liaise and support cross-functional teams to ensure the company meets performance targets.
    • Play a key role in further development of ERP system functionality.
    • Manage customer orders and requirements.
    • Assist with daily cycle counts and researching discrepancies.

    Requirements

    • Experience using SAP or ERP systems.
    • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Business, Engineering, or Supply Chain Management.
    • Supply chain and logistics experience.
    • Experience with importation and customs brokerage.
    • Minimum of two to five years experience in purchasing and inventory management required (in a medical device company preferred).
    • Multitasking and prioritizing capabilities.
    • Exceptional attention to detail.
    • Strong problem-solving skills and proactivity.
    • ERP Systems.
    • Ability to work with diverse personalities and develop strong business relationships with vendors and associates.
    • Negotiating skills and working knowledge with inventory planning methodologies such as MRP, Kanban, etc.
    • Demonstrate a practical understanding of continuous improvement methodologies such as LEAN, JIT, etc.
