Tracer Plant Specialist - Ciudad de México - Alten Mexico
Descripción
The main responsabilities are:
- Support the Assembly Plant Staff during Pilot / Launch phase for New Vehicle Launches, MCA's, and New Model Year Change Over (Carry-Over Plants)
- Lead coordination activities within the assembly plant for initial implementation of Tracer
- Identification of requirements / tasks for: Hardware, ICT integration, Plant Systems Integration (Dynetics, PFS, Broadcast, MCV, etc.), and Corporate Database / Date Lake integration
- Leading of activities weekly to install hardware, update product / plant data, and validate Tracer functionality & accuracy
- Coordination of critical activities required to resolve issues associated with Hardware installation/defects, Plants System Issues, and Tracer Application Bugs / Downtime
- Maintain regular communication with the plant personnel (plant Floor, and Management) to facilitate high usage of Tracer, resolution of issues and prompt escalation of issues (when needed)
- Liaison with OEM's Product Engineering, Plant Quality Engineers and Application Specialists to ensure that Tracer is updated with the latest Product Wiring / Connector data and that Broadcast is accurate as well.
- Support & Coordinate Tracer Training for Plant Personnel (hourly and salary)
- Collaboration with specialists/personnel at other assembly plants using Tracer to facilitate standardization of the Tracer App and associated processes in order to drive increased improvements across assembly plants
- Support projects, provide technical expertise, and drive other initiative/methods/tools that will improve vehicle quality, in order to assist the assembly plant achievement of their goals (KPI's: EE FTC/STC, Daily Build, I-Status, Warranty)
- Provide Analysis for Electrical Issues impacting FTC, STC, Build and Warranty by utilizing Tracer, Tracer Analytics, MCV, and other system
- Provide Daily / Weekly Reports for Plant Leadership / Management Staff, and Production Team to support improvements in Tracer Usage, Stratification of Top issues & Trends, and value generated by Tracer (and opportunities to drive improvement)
- Support / Assist with problem solving activities for top electrical losses and issues
- Generate & collect Proposals for improving Tracer and the Electrical Process at the plant
- Participate in Process Observations (POA) for Station Reviews, Training, Root Analysis, Containment and Permanent Actions
- Bachelor's degree or higher in the fields of Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or other degrees (in combination with relevant experience may be considered)
- Previous experience in Electrical Wiring/Harnesses/Connectors for a minimum of 3 years.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Fluent in both English and Spanish

- Minimum 5 years of experience in Manufacturing, Automotive Industry, Tier 1 or Tier 2 suppliers.
- Good leadership presence with the ability to work with Plant management and Plant Floor personnel.
- Selfmotivated and ability to thrive in a high intensity environment while working on multiple projects
- Previous experience working in manufacturing plants and/ or dealers
- Experience with problem solving tools (i.e. Blackbelt, Kaizen)
