    Job Category engineer, project management, plc Employee Type Full-Time Exempt Description We are looking to add a Senior Control Systems Engineer to our Systems Engineering Team This is a great opportunity for someone who has demonstrated the ability to translate client requirements and turn them into automation control features.

    The position will ideally be based in our corporate office in Evansville, Indiana.

    Projects will include emphasis on commercial details and project management including: Specifying, designing, developing, programming, and commissioning complete solutions composed of PLC, drive, and HMI/SCADA systems.

    Elevating application understanding and skills to perform advanced programming of complex controlled applications. Researching proper techniques for the development, improvement and management of these control systems.

    Defining and creating control system specifications as well as algorithms and specifying the appropriate tools for development of these control systems.

    Developing, integrating, and testing all related hardware equipment and software for these solutions. Reviewing, documenting, optimizing, and maintaining existing control system platforms using version control systems. Collaborating with supervisors and multi-disciplinary teams to coordinate work; be a team player. Developing integration and test documentation, user manuals, and providing on-the-job training and mentoring to others as needed. Scheduling and prioritizing workload for assigned projects. Attending client sites as required for implementation, commissioning, and testing of new and prototyped systems.

    Supporting occasional "on-call" requests from aftermarket engineering field service, including diagnosis, and troubleshooting of customer processes and machines at customer sites.

    Requirements The right candidate will have the following qualifications:
    Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering along with 5+ years of proven experience Project management background, or past experience in managing control system projects Experience using multiple PLC based control systems, including Allen Bradley and Siemens Experience configuring and programming HMI/SCADA applications Prior experience developing custom controlled applications and processes from initial design through to commissioning and handover#J-18808-Ljbffr
