    We are looking for a talented Senior Quality Engineer to join our team specialized in Controls for our SITE QUALITY ENGINEER area in San Luis Potosì, S.L.P. MEXICO.

    In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

    The Site Quality Engineer – Senior creates value for his or her assigned site by leading continuous improvement projects toward defect-free processes that meet customer needs and achieve business results.

    Responsible for applicable systems related to plant customer issues, such as corrective requests.

    Leads containment activities.

    Ensures that products and processes meet initial and long-term quality standards (examples: IATF, customer-specific requirements, advanced product quality planning (APQP), product part approval process documentation submission ( PPAP), etc.).

    Leads and/or supports change management activities for current product and value package introduction (VPI) by verifying products and processes to ensure key measures are met and analyzing data to support decisions.

    Supports and/or leads quality audits.

    Serves as a Quality technical resource for other functional areas.

    Coaches and mentors quality practices with less experienced team members.

    Leads prioritization of continuous improvement with key cross-functional business partners utilizing industry-proven methodology (Example: Lean Manufacturing, 7-Step Problem Solving, Intelligent Quality Tools and Methods (IQTM), etc.).

    Basic understanding and application of the Automotive Industry Action Group (AIAG) core tools.

    Leads and/or supports Safe Launch initiatives through VPI

    To be successful in this position, you will need the following:

    Industrial Engineer, Mechanical Engineer, Manufacturing Engineer, Systems Engineer, Mechatronic Engineer or similar.

    Basic tools well applied (MSA, APQP, PPAP, FMEA, CP SPC)

    Safe launch knowledge

    Expert in problem solving

    Application of quality control and fundamentals

    IATF 16949 / ISO / UL / CSA / Audits approach.

    Experience in transfer and implementation of new products.

    Availability to travel
