    As a Regional Sr. Tax Manager LACAR supporting the Regional FRA Organization, you will be trusted to drive the Tax Strategy and compliance for all Lacar Countries at our AGS Mexico.

    This role is responsible for:

  • Driving the end-to-end tax compliance processes (direct and indirect), by ensuring the appropriate reporting and timely payment of all tax obligations.
  • Mitigating tax risks and ensuring high quality in Tax accounting and internal/external tax reporting.
  • Working with several stakeholders within Financial Reporting and Accounting ("FRA"), Group Tax functions, and providing expert tax advice to Commercial and other functions.
  • Execution of a full spectrum of tax matters, tax planning, compliance, managing tax advisory work, and transfer pricing, by delivering timely and high-quality tax services and obligations in compliance with laws and regulations.
  • WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO ALCON:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, law, or another closely related field & Postgraduate degree in Taxation, Accounting, Finance, Business, Education, Law, MBA, Economics.
  • English proficiency, Full Local language (Spanish), Portuguese (Desirable)
  • Overall relevant work experience of at least 10 years in Tax (more than 3 in management positions) – Preferred experience in Big 4 or regional CPA firms
  • Strong Tax technical competence, Tax accounting, Tax Compliance, and international tax background
  • Ability to work effectively in a multi-national, matrix organization.
  • Outstanding organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
