Manufacturing Junior Engineer

The Junior Process Engineer will work hands-on with our products and collaborate closely with development engineers and manufacturing partners to understand and optimize product and process, provide sustaining engineering support to our IAC Monterrey Site throughout the product lifecycle, including process document control and updates, and support special build requests, NPI, data analysis, component evaluation, capacity growth, and QA


Job duties and responsibilities:


  • Design process improvements to reduce product cost, process cycle times and improve product quality
  • Provide operations solutions for cutting process issues such as poor yield, chronic quality issues, excessive processing time, insufficient process controls, high product discard levels or process related safety issues.
  • Suggest solutions for the rework of out of specification product that requires technical intervention.
  • Review, develop and troubleshoot facility layouts and equipment.
  • Perform root cause analysis, document conditions, and communicate process related failures as they occur
- basic-knowledge with CNC machining, G-code programming, and CAM software

  • Proficient in 2DCAD packages, such as AutoCAD

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Desire and ability to work in both an office and workshop environment
  • Have autonomous ability to follow the technical procedure as directed within the discipline.
- basic-knowledge with CNC machining, G-code programming, and CAM software

  • Be organized to deliver task on time as agreed with the Supervisor.
  • General understanding of Drafting standards and methodologies
  • Analytical approach to problemsolving and identifying potential solutions

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or other related study strongly preferred.
