The commissioning engineer in the control area will be involved in the configuration, factory and site tests of SCADA systems for electrical substations.

Responsibilities

You will work directly developing skills that include:

Configuration of all devices in the assigned project according to the engineer details.
Manage the different automation software used for electrical substations.
Verify the correct operation of the SCADA systems through the factory test, in accordance with the network solutions of the project Architecture.
Support performing specialized testing during all commissioning phases of project, Factory and Site.
Analyzing equipment operation
Participants are fulltime employees.

Preferred Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience

Control and Automation Engineer or similar with 3 years of experience in similar activities.
Basic Knowledge of protection esqueme for transmission and distribution.
Advanced Knowledge in protocol of communications for substations electric (DNP 3.0, IEC61850, Modbus RTU, IEC , IEC , OPC) etc.
Knowledge of network communications & Cyber Security (RSTP, PRP, HRP, VLAN, Firewall) etc.
Experience in Energy Automation, Management System, Smart Grid, Communication products, applicable standards, trends, functions and features, etc...
Skill and knowledge to working in team.
Basic Knowledge of programming in C, C++, Visual Basic, ST, etc.
Able to work both individually and in an established team setting.
Ability to think and act in a logical and methodical way.
Selfstarter with strong commitment in task assigned.
Able to interface with customers in a positive and professional manner.
Job requires willingness and possibilities for frequent travel and participation local delivery of customer specific projects globally.
Advanced level of English
