    Product Engineer, based in our
    Alpha Plant (Ciudad Juarez, Chihuahua, México).
As a Product Engineer you will be in charge to develop and release the products technical information assuring the trials design compliance


Your Tasks will be:


  • Obtains, analyzes, and provides the technical information required for the engineering changes proposed by the customer, manufacturing, or engineering.
  • Load the technical information in the manufacturing systems QAD, UCS, LMI, etc.
  • Ensure the accuracy of harness prints, bills of materials (BOM), cutsheets, visual aids and labor time.
  • Ensure the updating and precision of bills of materials (BOM) according to engineering changes and manufacturing adjustments, as a result of "teardowns".
  • Analyzes engineering change proposals and based on these prepares design change notifications (DCN) for the team.
  • Prepares BOM change notification (BCN) to update BOM according to engineering changes and/or manufacturing adjustments.
  • Create and design of packaging specifications for the finished goods.
  • Create cost studies for each of the engineering changes proposed by the Customer.
  • Generation and analysis of cost reduction ideas (CTO).

To be successful in this role you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree on Industrial Engineering or related field.
  • 1 years as Product Engineer in the automotive industry.
  • Knowledge in AutoCAD and High voltage harnesses preferably.
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office, Excel.
  • Outstanding communication.
  • English proficient.
