TE Connectivity's Materials Planning Teams are responsible for the plans, schedules, and monitoring of the movement of material through the production cycle.

They determine quantity and order date for materials to meet production or engineering schedules, initiate purchase or production requisitions compliant with supply agreements, and develop the schedule to be used in the production facility based on forecasts and historical analysis.

The Team develops specifications for new contract orders as well as forecasts and plans for labor requirements.

They provide timely and accurate input on supplier performance and may be asked to participate in higher level supplier performance reviews with the strategic sourcing team.

They also monitor cost, schedule and scope of assigned subcontracts to assure best quality at best value.

  • Converting end-to-end supply chains from a push to a pull flow transformation
  • Support and lead various mixed model strategies to improve KPIs
  • ABC XYC Analysis
  • Forecast Demand Analysis
  • Implement Kanban
  • Coach plant leadership to use Kanban & lean tools
  • Lead & support Supply Chain Improvement projects across all of ADM
  • Material Master update (Safety stock, Lot size, Lead time, etc)
  • Inventory levels and DOH
  • Migrations and projects experience
  • CRP Analysis
  • Sales vs Forecast Analysis
  • Investigate & identify root causes to provide guidance and future actions and strategy
  • Planning support in general
  • Excess Inventory levels & Accuracy
  • Open PO Report
  • Blocked invoices manage
  • Subcontracting inventory conciliation
  • Demand Analysis
  • Group Leadership
  • Obsolete material manage

What Your Background Should Look Like:

  • You have experience transforming supply chains from a push to pull strategy
  • You have knowledge & experience implementing Kanban
  • You have continuous improvement & lean manufacturing experience
  • You have ability to balance multiple projects & objectives
  • You are a critical thinker and have great attention to details
  • You have a strong understanding of Material Resource Planning systems
  • You have 5+ years of Supply Chain experience
  • You have SAP Experience & Understanding of SAP material master fields
  • You have excellent communication skills, verbal and written
  • You have a proactive attitude and service
