    Main responsibility:

    As a dynamic individual to fill the role of Product Quality Engineer at Nilfisk your expertise will play a pivotal role in ensuring our products exceed customer expectations consistently. Collaborate with teams globally to analyze, address, and resolve product technical failures, emphasizing customer satisfaction and continuous improvement.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Product Quality & Corrective Action Process

    Develop and industrialize the Nilfisk Product Quality reporting system and Corrective Action process.

    Train and coach personnel in Technical Failure Reporting (TFR) system and 8D problem-solving process.

    Lead cross-functional Quality Action Teams (QATs) to drive effective resolution of quality issues.

    Drive reduction of customer complaints and associated quality costs.

    Analyze global product quality data and prioritize issues for resolution.

    Lead resolution of high-impact product quality issues and support Product Quality governance process.

    Quality Management System

    Ensure compliance with global, regional, and local Quality Management System procedures.

    Support Quality Management System improvement and maintenance.

    Promote proactive and prevention-based quality controls.

    Contribute to the development and maintenance of PFMEA/Control Plan.

    Qualifications & skills:

    MS/BS in Engineering or similar

    4-5 years of experience in designing, testing, or manufacturing industrial or commercial products.

    Proficiency in structured problem-solving processes and quality tools.

    Experience with statistical analysis software and FMEA process.

    Six Sigma/Lean Manufacturing skills preferred.

    High proficiency in problem investigation, analysis, and solving.

    Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and engine systems.

    Excellent planning, coordination, and leadership skills.

    Superior customer orientation and communication abilities.

    Proficiency in English language fluency, both verbal and written.

    Demonstrated cross-functional team leadership and collaboration skills.

    Strong organizational and time management abilities.

    Tech skills:

    Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access.

    Working knowledge of ERP systems such as SAP.

    Familiarity with statistical analysis software like Minitab.

    Capability to learn new software.

    Traveling regionally and overseas is required.

    Must have:

    Advanced English to be able to negotiate, report and lead meetings with key suppliers.
