OBJECTIVES/_PURPOSE_

  • Make complex Front-End technical and design decisions.
  • Use latest frontend technologies to build best in class interfaces, which drive employee experience and productivity.

Product Design

  • Partner with product team to create front end designs based on product requirements to maximize user experience
  • Identify deficiencies and provide solutions for usability and UI/UX concerns
  • Make complex frontend technical and design decisions in conjunction with key Takeda stakeholders
Product Delivery

  • Create prototypes for customer engagements
  • Estimate work based on user stories and functional requirements or wireframes
  • Conduct showback sessions and product demos to small audiences
  • Follow release and sprint development deadlines and schedules
  • Collaborate with agile team to craft clear user stories and continuously deliver product increments
  • Responsible for mentoring and reviewing pull requests of more junior or outsourced partner's team members.
Technical Activities

  • Deliver highquality user experiences built in modern Front-End frameworks (React, Angular, AngularJS, ServiceNow Widgets, Server Scripts, Client Scripts)
  • Leverage best practice and industry standards (e.g. ServiceNow Client Script best practices)
  • Design user interfaces to ensure responsive design works across computing platforms
  • Contribute to Takeda's mission by leading the development and adoption of solutions that deliver business outcomes and drive innovation.
  • Leverage Takeda Agile SDLC toolset for code management, integration and deployment.

Technical/Functional (Line) Expertise

  • ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (preferred)
  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) (preferred)
  • Relevant certifications in the frontend development area
  • Experience in Agile development.

  • EDUCATION, BEHAVIOURAL COMPETENCIES_,_ AND SKILLS_:_

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, systems analysis or a related study.
  • More than 5 years relevant development experience.
  • More than 3 years of exposure to ServiceNow frontend technologies
  • Experience leading Front-End development (React, Angular, AngularJS, TypeScript, JavaScript, ECMAScript).
  • Experience in SASS, CSS, HTML, and writing crossbrowser compatible code.
  • Knowledge of MV-VM/MVC frameworks.
  • Selfstarter with a passion for taking ownership of your work and delivering outcomes.
  • Excellent communication skills, a team player with a 'winning as a team' attitude.
  • Ability to continuously enhances own skills.
  • Ability to write and speak in the English language.

Preferred:

  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) or ServiceNow Certified Application Developer
  • Experience using Agile methodologies in a DevOps environment.
  • Experience with GitHub and GitHub Actions.
  • Experience with Jira and Confluence or ServiceNow Agile Development
