Overview:

Responsibilities:

Achieve exceptional sales results and market share growth for the assigned territory.
Analyze and dissect the market as it relates to market share, penetration and growth opportunities and develop an annual strategic plan to meet sales targets and corporate objectives.
Demonstrate financial acumen by creating sales growth programs and accompanying analyses to ensure profitable sales growth and sound business decisionmaking.
Develop and maintain a project database and secure Rain Bird installations at strategic, highvalue sites.
Work closely with Marketing and assist the Agriculture Division in determining market needs, competitive information, and overall market trends.
Differentiate Rain Bird from its competitors by providing superior customer service, high visibility to key accounts, and aggressive inperson sales call coverage.
Implement novel approaches to accelerate Rain Bird's influence with growers and corporate farming customers.
Capability to become an accomplished leader that consistently achieves results and develops creative, customerfocused solutions to accelerate growth.

Qualifications:

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

B.A. or B.S. Degree.
Fluent in English and Spanish.
7+ years of sales experience and a proven track record of selling highvalue products in Mexico.
Excellent communication skills, written and oral, and general business skills.
Strong negotiating skills and ability to sell to large accounts with multiple stakeholders.
Motivated, results oriented, self starter eager to take ownership of job requirements.
Aptitude for quantitative analysis, strategic thinking, and detailed planning.
Must live within the assigned territory and embrace 70% or more overnight travel.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

MBA or graduate degree.
Experience with wholesale distribution, business to business sales, irrigation design and installation, or agricultural operations.
