Your Tasks:


Role Purpose:


The logistics manager is responsible for ensuring the supply chain efficiency and effectiveness throughout the organization by managing and protecting brand integrity, supporting product availability and ensuring the correct execution of imports and exports in compliance with the rules and local laws of foreign trade.

Also responsible for overall product management of Value-Added Services VAS.

**Main Accountabilities

  • Planning and managing logistics, warehouse, Inbound and Outbound transportation, VAS operation and packing engineering.
  • Directing, optimizing, and coordinating full order cycle
  • Liaising and negotiating with suppliers, PC's, and customers
  • Guaranteeing the Warehousing and Distribution process on time according to the budget.
  • Identifying and performing activities to gain efficiencies in the LSP's operation.
  • Implementing global quality standards, developing, and managing local process.
  • Organizing, storing, and monitoring the distribution of goods to ensure items and resources are shipped to their appropriate destinations
  • Managing Logistic Service Provider (LSP) to deliver good service in warehousing, LTL transporting and other special projects
  • Guaranteeing a correct execution of FTL shipments with the services provider monitoring On-Time, In Full, costs, security and tracking.
  • The scope of VAS includes strategy, operations, product development, technology, and finance.
  • Reporting all the logistics KPIs to the organization as well as providing the operational information to the corporate audit when needed.
  • Keeping track of quality, quantity, stock levels, delivery times, transport costs and efficiency
  • Resolving any arising problems or complaints
  • Supervising, coaching and training warehouse workforce
  • Achieving cost, productivity, accuracy and timeliness targets
  • Guaranteeing the correct capacity of the co packers ensuring quality, delivery times and correct documentation.
  • Managing the prices of co packers.
  • Handling of freight forwarders, custom agencies and additional providers for the international logistics ensuring capacities, prices, and service level according to the corporate needs.

Your Profile:

**Knowledge, Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, etc.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in consumer products companies (FMCG).
  • Knowledge of Warehousing & Distribution processes.
  • Knowledge of Value-AddedService subcontracting monitoring.
  • Knowledge of foreign trade
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Outstanding analytical and problemsolving skills.
  • Data literacy (data driven conversations; impact driven by kpi's)
  • Fluent Spanish & English
