    Main responsibilities:

    The main activities to be carried out are the following:


    • Development and/or improvement of PLC applications for the improvement of already established processes.


    • Adapt new PLC programs for new part numbers on equipment already installed within the Forvia-Faurecia plants.


    • Analyze and address the root cause and provide solutions to problems associated with PLC controlled systems.


    • Review processes and procedures on an ongoing basis for safety, process efficiency and implementation of standards.


    • You may be asked to provide support to different departments in the plant for problem solving and improving cycle times.


    • Complete all tasks assigned by the N.


    • Support in the integration of new teams for FCM projects.

    Qualifications:

    The ideal candidate will/will be:


    • Engineer or technician degree and/or 3 years of minimum experience as a controls engineer.


    • Programming the Allen Bradley PLC on the Studio platform.


    • PLC integration with I/O devices (servo motors, IO remote modules, etc.)


    • Configuration and programming of IO Link systems via Ethernet.


    • Programming of HMI panel View.


    • Knowledge of Fanuc and Motoman robots desirable.


    • Programming of Siemens PLCs desirable.


    • Design of control, pneumatic and electrical systems.


    • Ability to work autonomously.


    • Valid visa and passport to travel to the U.S.
