    Objective:

    Ensure an efficient and productive manufacturing process that meets customer requirements. Responsibilities Collaborate with other managers to formulate objectives and understand requirements Calculate costs and prepare budgets Organize workflow to meet specifications and deadlines.

    Accountabilities:

    Manage people

    • • Strong leadership skills with the ability to get results through mentoring skills
    • • Ensure that any new employee of his/her perimeter follows an Induction process.
    • • Manages directly the Managers, Sr. supervisors, supervisors and indirectly (Dotted line) all function related to the APU.
    • • Monitor competences for his/her team and develops its autonomy (training plan building, follow-up & training actions implementation).
    • • Ensure working standards are respected on its APU during the operations (safety, work instructions, quality, and respect of the product).
    • • Ensure that standards of reaction are applied with rigor and perform escalation according to standards.
    • • Responsible for developing an enthusiastic, motivated and flexible team by building working relationships ensuring that Health, Safety and Environmental requirements are adhered to. Manage the team on best practice and establish standard policies and procedures whilst also mentoring and leading teams.
    • • Lead daily, weekly & monthly meetings, and organize delegation.
    • • Conduct annual appraisals, salary review, career interviews, succession planning & give feedback. Communicate a mindset of continuous improvement & responsibility vs. targets achievement inside its APU.
    • • Perform OJT of his/her teams every day on standards & methodologies implemented
    • • Congratulate and recognize its team for improvements.
    • • Ensure a positive social climate on his/her APU.

    Manage people

    • • Manage the productivity and capex projects related to the production area, to meet the budget and required finish dates to comply with the savings targets.
    • • Ensure enforcement of health, safety, and environmental rules.
    • • Ensure corrective & preventive maintenance of equipment & sustainable TPM.
    • • Define work standards with the help of support functions.

    Manage production

    • • Be responsible for customer satisfaction.
    • • Responsible for plant production, financial performance, meeting customer requirements and maintaining the orderly and productive operation of planned activities.
    • • Be accountable for SQCDP performance and profitability (gross margin) of his/her APU, in terms of targets achievement, and improvement
    • • Ensure optimal use of equipment (OEE).
    • • Assign & check corrective actions on recurring problems with APU and Plant support departments.
    • • Ensures manufacturing performance, volume, quality, and cost goals are met by utilizing efficient methods and maintaining appropriate staffing levels
    • • Escalate at Site level the issues that can't be solved.
    • • Validate monthly the demonstrated capacity of his/ her APU and communicate to SIOP / MPS.
    • • Weekly commit on MPS.
    • • Respect daily the MPS contract
    • • In case of daily MPS respect deviation, take necessary measures to have respected weekly MPS at end of the week.

    Manage continuous improvement:

    • • Lead daily APU War room (SQCDP)
    • • Lead workstation ergonomics risk analysis and elimination.
    • • Lead every day gemba activities with his/her team, as TOP 3 issues countermeasures review.
    • • Lead & review action plans to improve SQCDP performance (actual and targets).
    • • Be responsible for Customer Line Return analysis and solving for products from his/her APU in front of customers.
    • • Translates customer requirements into state-of-the-art manufacturing strategies and processes, resulting in cost-effective processing and profitable manufacturing of company products.
    • • Manage the VSM deployment plan Flow of his/her APU, ensuring that there are Flow Transformation workshops evolutions to simplify Operations and minimize waste
    • • Prepare budget proposal (including training actions, investments).
    • • Manage the budget of his/her APU and allocates the appropriate resources in respect with the budget perimeter. Implement necessary corrective actions for compliance.

    Contribute to successful new projects

    • • Be involved in the industrialization of new projects as early research and ensures along functional department a flawless launch to SORP (Start or Regular production per NPI plans on Program Management,
    • • Validate the Lean Process Design for new projects.

    Job Specifications:

    Reports to: Manufacturing Manager

    Schooling required: BS degree or equivalent experience in Manufacturing, Electrical or Industrial Engineering.

    Experience required : At minimum 7 years of experience

    Management or Independent Contributor: Salaried Position.

    English level: Bilingual 90%

    Computational knowledge : MS Office, Knowledge of the practical application of engineering science and technology. This includes applying principles, techniques, procedures, and equipment to the design and production of various goods and services.

    Additional comments:

    • • Desired Six Sigma Green Belt certified and exposure to Operative systems based on Toyota Production Systems.
    • • Knowledge of MRP/ERP system.
    • • Production and Processing — Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods.
    • • Mechanical — Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance.
    • • Administration and Management — Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, human resources modeling, leadership technique, production methods, and coordination of people and resources
    • • Personnel and Human Resources — Knowledge of principles and procedures for personnel recruitment, selection, training, safety, and labor relations
