Job Summary:

Identifies potential profit leaks and areas of margin improvement, drives actions and establishes stable business methodologies and/or processes to optimize profitability.

Identifies further financial risks linked to activity with suppliers.

Principal Responsibilities:

Investigates, proposes and followsup on actions designed to improve profitability.
Ensures business processes are set up to decrease or eliminate profit leaks.
Works crossfunctionally to develop and implement new processes and best practices relating to profitability controls.
Responsible for the accuracy and on time delivery of the team reporting.
Manages a team of specialists including recruiting, orientation, task prioritization, salary reviews, vacation planning, disciplinary actions, conflict management, and employee exits.
Develops team by coaching and/or training directly or through third party provider in line with approved budget.
Optimizes supplier rebate achievement by providing relevant information and proposing actions to sales and asset.
Determines Microsoft OVRP reserves and provides input to finance director.
Monitors and ensures supplier obligations negotiated in supplier contracts are met and address issues when necessary.
Assists in determining reserve requirements and allocate supplier rebate credit notes to the P&L.
Conducts supplier audits.
Participates in supplier business reviews when necessary.
Other duties as assigned.

Job Level Specifications:

Coordinates and supervises the daily activities of business or technical support teams comprised of individual contributors. Sets priorities for the team to ensure task completion. May coordinate work activities with other supervisors.
Directs routine and repetitive operations of team.
Assignments are largely established in accordance with schedules and deliverables. Decisions are guided by policies, procedures and business plans.
Collaborates daily with direct reports and peers within similar functions primarily for the purpose of exchanging information.
Decisions have a direct impact on team operations. Erroneous decisions or failure to achieve results may cause delays in schedules and require the allocation of additional time, people and/or financial resources.

Work Experience:

Typically 4+ years relevant work experience

Education and Certification(s):

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience from which comparable knowledge and job skills can be obtained.
