    About the Role

    The Specialist, Supply Chain General (Global Supply Planner) plays a key role in turns-based inventory management based on statistical analysis. This includes data research and information management, report building and analysis in support of inventory decision making. The successful candidate will possess a passion for innovative analysis, processes that scale, and the ability to develop findings and recommendations that go beyond numbers. Ideally, you have an inventory planning background in consumer electronics or retail.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Balance inventory based on turns targets – adopt a build-to-stock model.
    • Maintain target inventory levels through adjustments in purchase orders to factories and suppliers.
    • Work with Factory Manager & Procurement to obtain global supply visibility.
    • E nsure inbound supply dates are accurate and up-to-date.
    • Manage backorder reports and resolve issues.
    • Develop replenishment strategies, including safety stock adjustments.
    • Create appropriate turns targets and safety stock levels based on "A", "B", "C" status.
    • Collaborate with sales and supply chain teams to improve forecast and fulfillment percentages.

    Requirements for Success

    • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, operations, engineering, mathematics or a related field. An MBA is a plus.
    • SAP, IBP Experience.
    • Minimum 5 years of experience using PC-based applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Access).
    • 5 years of experience working in a team-based environment.
    • 5 years of experience working in a demand planning or supply chain role.
    • 2 years of experience in Logistics.

    Bonus Points if You Have

    • An understanding of strategic business objectives and the ability to drive results towards those objectives.
    • Proficiency in working in a fast-paced, complex, dynamic, multicultural business environment.
    • The ability to gather data and conduct quantitative and qualitative analysis, including business process metrics and measuring link to business KPIs.
    • The ability to translate business goals and metrics into business process outcomes and related business cases for specific projects.
    • Experience in finance, sales, marketing, product management, and R&D functions.

    Eligibility Criteria

    • Willingness to work in an office in Tijuana, Mexico (hybrid).
    • Willingness to travel 5-10% domestically.
    • Willingness to work across multiple time zones.
    • Any offer of employment is conditioned upon the successful completion of a background investigation and drug screen.
