About the team:


The Partner Management team's mission is to guide our content partners to imagine, develop, and publish best in class video apps and experiences.

As the main point of contact for platform, product, and technical topics, we partner closely with content publishers, 3rd party developers, and cross-functional teams within Roku, including Content Acquisition, Partner Growth, Payments, Advertising, Partner Initiatives, Product and Engineering.

In addition to facilitating onboarding and channel launches across the world, we help partners build channels that delight customers while ensuring compliance to Roku's platform and business requirements.


About the role:

Senior Partner Manager - LATAM will serve as a liaison between content partners in LatAm and Roku. This unique, externally facing role requires skill in not only partner management but a strong technical background.


Through content partnerships and programs, Roku works with video content producers to develop their online video business by combining their content creation and management expertise with the audience, monetization, and analytics strength of Roku's platform.

Based in San Jose, California, USA, up to 25% travel may be required.

What you'll be doing:


  • Assist with the management of relationships and daytoday activities of media partners and vendors. You will work directly with external partners as well as with internal crossfunctional teams (e.g., Content Acquisition, Partner Engineering, Developer Relations, and Partner Marketing) to support the execution of content channel development activities and be the driving force behind the content partner progress
  • Postdeal endtoend technical partner management including onboarding and ongoing support of partners
  • Oversee the successful launch of channels across LatAm, from managing their success thru certification, channel launch and manage postlaunch channel updates and requests. Ensure highly functional teamwork and excellent partner experience
  • You will assist with the execution of gotomarket business initiatives to support the growth of the different markets and will serve as a key role in guiding partners to follow Roku's business and technology roadmaps
  • Become a product expert to answer questions/inquiries from partners' product and technical teams; engage experts as necessary to help with detailed technical queries
  • Communicate and deploy key Roku product initiatives with partners working with engineering, operations, and marketing
  • Identify risks, develop mitigation strategies, and facilitate resolution internally and with partners

We're excited if you have:


  • Spanish language proficiency required. Portuguese language fluency a bonus
  • 10+ years of relevant partner relationship management and program management experience Demonstrated a track record of successfully leading highly visible partner projects. Proven ability to forge and optimize relationships with partners and colleagues. Experience driving schedules, and deliverables with partners
  • Strong technical ability with a good understanding of Roku and OTTrelated technologies
  • Experience with entertainment delivery solutions, online content providers, service operators, video streaming file formats, DRM, and digital ad insertion. Also, have handson experience with tools like JIRA, Zendesk, and Salesforce
