As a Marketing / Sustainability Coordinator you will complete sustainability initiatives within the organization, aligned with global goals, but also with Comex's own initiatives.

You will play a fundamental role in the development of strategies that promote responsible business practices, seek social, economic and environmental profitability, and environmental, social and governance factors.

You will report to the Global team.

Main Responsibilities.

Coordinate and implement sustainability strategies following global objectives, company values and local goals.
Develop environmental and social impact assessment metrics to identify areas of improvement and growth opportunities.
Collaborate with different departments to integrate sustainable practices into existing operations.
Monitor compliance with applicable standards and regulations.
Participate in awarenessraising and training initiatives for staff on sustainability issues and good practices.
Monitor the internal sustainability committee, reporting and accountability.
Monitor all social impact projects and mapping of important activities to ensure functioning (time and resources).
Maintain relationships with suppliers, external organizations, and local communities to foster sustainability collaborations and alliances.

Qualifications

University degree in related areas such as social responsibility, sustainable development or similar fields.
1+ years experience in sustainability project management activities.
Knowledge of environmental legislation and international standards.
Knowledge of environmental impact assessment tools.
Knowledge of standards and certification on Social Responsibility and Sustainability issues (GRI, ISO 26000, ESR, among others)
Advanced English skills.
