The Role:
Sr Specialist - Collections

The Grade/Level:
(relevant for internal applicants only) 9

The Location:
Mexico City

The Team:
The S&P Global Credit and Collections team is responsible for the collection of all accounts receivable.

They are to carry out this responsibility following established business procedures and policies that are set up to protect revenue while at the same time providing excellent customer service.

The Senior Collections Agent will be responsible for assisting the Team Lead in the management of the Associate Collections Agents

Responsibilities:

Vigorous participation in the collection of all outstanding receivables which includes making collections calls and other communications.

Monitoring and maintaining accounts within assigned territory, which includes performance of reconciliations and adjustments.

Assisting the Team Lead in supervising the collections team, which includes team collections strategies, workflow assignments, and performing account reviews.

Ensuring adherence to policies and procedures related to payment, cancellation and suspension/termination of customer services.

Working closely with Team Lead and S&P Global Management to implement process policies that contribute to effective collections reduction of delinquency.

Execution of special projects concerning collections as required.

What We're Looking For:

Excellent verbal and written English communication.

Excellent verbal and written in specialized language communication.

5 years of experience in collections, accounts receivable or related area

Excellent interpersonal, motivational and leadership skills

Excellent problem solving skill

Commitment to excellent customer service

Strong attention to detail, goal oriented

Ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities and meet deadlines

Advanced knowledge of MS Office Suite including Excel

Knowledge about collections strategy systems is a plus
