    Tasks and Qualifications:

    The Role

    Dematic/KION is looking for a DMS Administrator responsible for configuration changes and enhancements on DMS Systems globally. As a Document Management Administrator, you will be responsible for key strategic projects in the Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) group within KION Group IT. This role will help in configuring, maintaining, and supporting the KION DMS environment selection. This position will collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance the document management capabilities, integrate with other systems based on the API solutions, configure, and ensure security policies are in place, and develop robust backup and restore procedures.

    Essential Roles and Responsibilities

    To be successful in this role, your proven track record will enable you to deliver against the following key performance areas:

  • Configure, install, and maintain the KION DMS system after selection.
  • Design, build, develop, and maintain DMS Systems and integrating them with other systems
  • Monitor performance, troubleshoot issues, optimize the environment for efficiency and health of the environment.
  • Work with other team members to help define, develop, and maintain API integrations to other environments like SAP, Configura or AutoCAD.
  • Ensure data security and compliance per KION standards.
  • Implement and manage the backup/restore procedures and best practices per the selected vendor.
  • As a technical specialist, you are constantly working on the documentation and further development of best practices and the further expansion of our knowledge database.
  • Work cross-functionally with peers, developers, product owners, management, and other departments to develop and deliver successful customer solutions.
  • Manage assigned cases; utilizing RemedyForce to track, document, monitor, and communicate customer expectations, issues, status, action items, and deliverables.
  • Provide backline support by collaborating, assisting, and sharing knowledge with local and cross functional teams as needed while ensuring SLA adherence.
  • Engage with Key Users and Business partners to identify and validate requirements and translate to solution design.
  • Monitor and present periodic status to stakeholders.
  • Monitor Risks / Issues and prepare appropriate mitigation plans.
  • Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree with 5+ years of experience as a DMS Administrator with emphasis on Hyland Alfresco.
  • Desired experience in Documentum, OpenText, Enovia or other similar Document Management systems.
  • Expertise in Alfresco - CMIS, Alfresco - Web Forms, Alfresco Content Services, and Alfresco Process Services.
  • Experience with Alfresco Administration, Content Management, Integration, Optimization, Backup, Recovery, Trouble shooting and security Compliance.
  • Strong knowledge of ECM principles, Alfresco architecture, and Alfresco Community/Enterprise editions.
  • Strong communication skills (English required C1/C2).
  • Strong problem solving; self-starter; detail oriented; excellent time-management/schedule skills; ability to meet deadlines; desire to learn.
  • Must be willing and able to work evenings, weekends, and overtime as needed.
  • Experience working with global teams.
  • Proficient using Project Management tools (JIRA), preparing, and presenting appropriate status reports.
