KEY FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBIITIES
-
Sales support:


  • Technical responsible for all needs related to Savory category within Mexico, which represents LE MT total volume and $76.5MM USD Net Sales (Core $58.4MM and Specialties $18.1MM).
  • In close collaboration with the sales representative, develop, update and execute strategies for all Account Plans related to key customers in these categories (e.g., Nestlé, Danone, Sigma, Lala, Qualtia, Alpura, etc.).
  • Increase the Specialties portfolio growth and protect the Core business in the Dairy category (which includes Dairy and Dairy Alternative products).
  • Develop strong working relationship with Sales to follow up and prioritize projects and activities within Mexico and consequently maximize business return, achieving the Categories deliverables.

Subject Matter Expert:


  • Technical expert in process, equipment, technologies and portfolio performance (starches, hydrocolloids, emulsifiers, sweeteners, proteins, etc.) in the Dairy category.
  • Develops, drives, and leverages own expertise & handson skills as needed to successfully formulate with selected ingredient clusters across their focus category spaces and transfers new knowledge and structurefunction insights efficiently to the wider category team

Customer Collaboration:


  • Provide technical support along the customers' innovation process from ideation to commercialization to meet agreed business growth targets, meeting customer requirements for cost savings, quality improvements, or product innovation, particularly based on our main Growth Platforms portfolio.

Knowledge transfer:


  • Represents Mexico in Global Expertise Teams (Dairy), functional groups (Dairy Alternatives) and Key Account (Nestlé and Danone) meetings and identifies opportunities for crossregional solution transfers.

QUALIFICATION AND REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's Degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Chemistry or a related degree.

  • 6 + of experience in Research & Development or Technical Services related to Dairy category (mainly Yogurt, Cheese, Cream, Flavored Milk and Dairy Alternatives).
  • Food Ingredients (Hydrocolloids, starches, proteins, sweeteners, fibers, etc.) experience or knowledge.
  • Demonstrated leadership / collaboration skills, both within and between groups, as well as with external customers.
  • Effective communication of indepth technical information at all levels internally and with customers, and excellent communication and influencing skills, particularly verbal and presentation skills.
  • Prior experience managing customer relationships.
  • Ability to travel up to >50.
