ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS:

Mentoring entry level developers through career level
Lead the internal software engineering team
Develop and foster a strong engineering culture of continuous improvement
Lead with integrity and establish and maintain a trusting, inclusive, and productive environment
Build and maintain relationships with product management, business unit leaders, external partners, and vendors to make decisions regarding engineering activity and support strategic goals
Develop, set and ensure expectations are met as it relates to delivery and fulfillment of key partners
Lead design, development and deployment of change management activities
Responsible for execution of software engineering projects within an agile framework
Ensuring that all coding paths are unit tested and nearly bug free
Effectively utilize version control and issue tracking software
Collaborating across a diverse team of technologists, designers, business customers and product owners to produce creative software solutions
Complying with HIPAA, PCI, industry best practices

EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION AND/OR TRAINING:

Computer science degree or related experience preferred but not required
5+ years in software development
2+ years as a team or technical lead in JavaScript technologies
2+ years as a team or technical lead building web apps that integrate with Rest APIs
Demonstrated success in developing and executing Agile/Scrum, SAFe y Kamban to efficiently and effectively release products
Demonstrated ability to grow individual contributors
Demonstrate ability to lead software development teams
Proven ability to develop innovative solutions for best in class engineering
Organizational, communication, and leadership skills, demonstrated by previous professional success
3+ years of experience working as a member of a polyskilled team
Experience with encryption, security protocols and procedures
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Experience with KPIs implementation
Technical experience in some of next technologies (AWS, Java, Spring Boot, SQL, React).
English proficient is a must
