Supports the resolution of quality issues and processes for the supply function in the manufacturing facility.


Job Duties

  • Inbound quality management (MRDR / NCM / COPQ);
  • Reactive quality issue resolution for domestic and international suppliers (identify, contain, eliminate
  • RCCA);
  • Facility specific supplier perf. inputs to APQP (PPMs, CARs, MRDR), drive IQA = PDI;
  • Assure PPAPs execution for NPI and WDO, as well as BIQ execution at supplier;
  • Manage supply interruptions resulting from supplier quality issues.
  • Provides conclusions and recommendations for quality issues and/or continuous quality improvement projects.
  • Participates in supplier quality improvement initiatives; works with suppliers to develop and improve quality levels.
  • Ensures the reliability and quality of suppliers, implementing process controls, certification programs, evaluations, inspections, corrective actions, audits and records.
  • Identified quality problem(s) and determines a shortterm action plan with the facility management and the supplier.

Requirements:


  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering; mechanical, industrial, mechatronics or similar.
  • A minimum two years of jobrelated experience
  • Solid ability to use and demonstrate statistical and problem solving tools is required.
  • Strong communication skills with internal and external teams (written and conversational).
  • Advanced English
  • Advanced Excel
  • Basic knowledge of castings, machining, CAT drawings, logistics, ETQ, APQP/PPAP, Nonconforming material process.
