    Fashion Operations Manager - Planning & Forecasting

    Job Title: Fashion Operations Manager - Planning & Forecasting is a key role within the fashion business, focusing heavily on planning, forecasting, and advanced Excel expertise.

    The ideal candidate will bring strong analytical skills, a proactive mindset, and a deep understanding of the fashion industry's supply chain, demand, and forecasting needs.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Develop and manage yearly financial forecasts, setting topline and bottom-line goals for fashion operations. Break down yearly goals into monthly and daily forecasts, predicting key metrics like marketing spend, revenue, and contribution margin.
    • Conduct demand and supply planning to meet sales targets while maintaining inventory levels in line with fashion seasonality.
    • Lead weekly performance reviews with the Head of Marketing to analyze variances, adjust forecasts, and strategize inventory liquidation or marketing spends.

    Project Management:

    • Oversee purchase orders (POs), ensuring timely creation, placement, and alignment with fashion demand and supply needs.
    • Manage supplier relationships, coordinating weekly communication to track production timelines, address production issues, and ensure new product SKUs are set up correctly.

    New Product Management:

    • Set up new SKUs in 3PL systems, Shopify, and other platforms as required, especially for new fashion items.

    Qualifications:

    • Mandatory Requirements:
      • Minimum 3+ years of experience in operations, financial management, or a related role within the fashion industry.
      • Proven expertise in advanced Excel, including managing complex forecasting models.
      • Experience in demand planning, supply chain management, and sales forecasting, specifically for fashion-related products.
      • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in financial tools like QuickBooks.
    • Nice-to-Haves:
      • Familiarity with tools such as Flexport, Shopify, and Notion.
      • Background in e-commerce or wholesale fashion operations.
