is a reinsurer which reinsures vehicle service and maintenance products from Nissan and Infiniti dealerships worldwide as well as a host of other insurance products related to property and casualty, payment protection and gap coverage.

The company is based out of Bermuda and is the parent company to NESNA in the U.S., NCESI in Canada and NII in Europe.

Role
We are looking for a

Senior Accounting Analyst/Junior Controller based out of Mexico City who will maintain records in SAP accounting systems: Journal entries, General Ledger, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Revenue Reconciliation, etc. The incumbent will be responsible for financial close of the company along with preparing cash flow, income and balance sheet statements. Also, will be responsible for Account reconciliations and consolidation reporting, provide support for Internal and External Audits and provide accounting support for NCESI. Reporting to NGRe Finance Controller.

Responsibilities

Responsible for

Monthly Journal Entries:
Preparation and posting of all JE's as per NNA Month-end Schedule timeline.

Ensure compliance with accounting, policies and IFRS GAAP requirements.
Responsible for

Reconciliations:

Bank Reconciliations
Balance sheet Account Reconciliations
NCESI Account Reconciliations
Blackline reconciliation support for both NCESI and NGRe
Work closely with NCESI, NESNA and NII Accounting teams on queries/additional request on reporting
Resolving billing queries from affiliates and fronting insurers on a daily basis.
Working closely with Operations team on resolving Accounts Receivable billing queries on a daily basis.
Manage Accruals and Intercompany settlements:
Month-end Accrual files for Tactical Promotions
Posting JE's associated with Intercompany billing.
Initiating Wire Requests for Intercompany Settlement
Handling Queries from affiliates/insurers/NMAC/NNA
Responsible for

preparation of Consolidation with affiliates: Quarterly /Year-end

Assist the Controller/Junior Manager in various areas on regular basis:
Support Internal Control Audit: Information gathering/Requests.

Support Yearend Audit

Information gathering/bank reports from banking systems.
Ongoing Projects support e.g., testing or extracting data.
Prepare adhoc reports as required.
Support with IFRS17 system changes (information extract/gathering OR testing)

Qualifications

Bachelor/Postgraduate of Accounting Degree.
Language: Should be able to communicate effectively in
English
Advanced:
Understanding of finance accounting and finance statements (end to end).
Minimum 4 years of experience in
General accounting experience.
Must
:Proficient in Excel and knowledge of Other Microsoft Office Applications MS Access, PowerPoint.
Experience in Accounting Systems, preferably
SAP and Hyperion.
Ability to multitask, manage multiple priorities and work in a rapidly changing and dynamic environment.
Selfstarter with excellent time and project management skills.
High degree of integrity to handle confidential assignments and information.
