Job Description:
ESAB Guardian & Planner will be reporting into the Global Guardian team leader. The Guardian will work locally with the Aftermarket team & Service Managers (Cutting & Welding Automation). They will be responsible for promoting our contractual offers, retrofits, and spare pkg. They will work with our Field Service Engineer group to capture and promote opportunities.

They will be responsible for our Life Cycle Management program and follow customer needs from purchasing to end of life and machine replacement.

Their goal is to become trusted adviser for the customer and a key contact point for escalation needs, proper managing such a situation will become one of the most profitable opportunities in our entire Capital goods business.

We are looking at the Guardian function as an important commercial asset and must work in close cooperation with our Service Managers & Aftermarket Sales team.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Maintain and improve customer relationship.
  • Plan service with Service Managers
  • Promotion of wears and spares.
  • Promotion of service contractual offers.
  • Promotion of upgrades and retrofits.
  • Engage with customer and maintain all aspect of the life cycle management.
  • Work with obsolescence list and contact customer to bring awareness, promote upgrades.
  • Voice customers concerns and issues with the Aftermarket team.
  • Lead generation, cold call into customers within our industry.
  • Maintain and meet set KPI's for aftermarket guardian.

Qualifications:


  • Language Requirements: English, and local language.
  • Experience Requirements: More than 5 years as Customer Services, or position related to customer relationship. Team player, Customer focus, Strong communication skills (both verbal and written).
  • Mobility &

Travel Requirements:
(Low volume), Available to travel in North America, to meet customers.

  • Driving License.
  • Good ability to communicate with internal and external stakeholders.
