BAT DBS MEXICO IS LOOKING FOR A PLANNING ANALYST

LOCATION:

ROLE POSITIONING AND OBJECTIVES
What you will be accountable for
- Develop, implement & regularly maintain the financial analysis models pertaining to Marketing Investment, Promotional spend for both traditional & new categories
- Monthly upload of forecasted volumes on the financial system
- Reconciliations of volume differences or changes MoM and walk through to senior partners
- Support the marketing planning team on different tasks related to volume reporting for all categories on portfolio
- Extract relevant information from systems such as MicroStrategy/dashboards & update the team on commercial critical metrics, performance, state level views etc
- Be the face of financial reporting towards the US and Costa Rica Finance Teams
- Perform adhoc query related to strategic exercises such as financial scenarios, current plus five scenarios
- Follow the monthly SOP cycle submissions to US and Global

Required Education & Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, Accounting, Finance, Business Administration.
- 3 years of proven experience in Accounting, Financial Analysis, or related area.

- Has credibility within domain
- Handson experience in finance models and reporting tools
- A graduate in Engineering / Statistics / Economics / Maths / MBA ongoing would be an added advantage
- Good commercial awareness and strong understanding of domain along with BAT strategy and business model
- Excellent management, mentor and motivational skills are crucial due to the number of staff within the departments.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to connect with senior and other levels of staff in all departments and companies both within the Group and externally.
- Good understanding of End to End Supply Chain Management
- Highly disciplined in data and documentation management
- Highly skilled in Excel
