BAT DBS MEXICO IS LOOKING FOR A PLANNING ANALYST

DBS Mexico, SP&I


LOCATION:
Monterrey, México


ROLE POSITIONING AND OBJECTIVES

What you will be accountable for

  • Develop, implement & regularly maintain the financial analysis models pertaining to Marketing Investment, Promotional spend for both traditional & new categories
  • Monthly upload of forecasted volumes on the financial system
  • Reconciliations of volume differences or changes MoM and walk through to senior partners
  • Support the marketing planning team on different tasks related to volume reporting for all categories on portfolio
  • Extract relevant information from systems such as MicroStrategy/dashboards & update the team on commercial critical metrics, performance, state level views etc
  • Be the face of financial reporting towards the US and Costa Rica Finance Teams
  • Perform adhoc query related to strategic exercises such as financial scenarios, current plus five scenarios
  • Follow the monthly SOP cycle submissions to US and Global

Required Education & Experience:


  • Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, Accounting, Finance, Business Administration.
  • 3 years of proven experience in Accounting, Financial Analysis, or related area.

  • Has credibility within domain
  • Handson experience in finance models and reporting tools
  • A graduate in Engineering / Statistics / Economics / Maths / MBA ongoing would be an added advantage
  • Good commercial awareness and strong understanding of domain along with BAT strategy and business model
  • Excellent management, mentor and motivational skills are crucial due to the number of staff within the departments.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to connect with senior and other levels of staff in all departments and companies both within the Group and externally.
  • Good understanding of End to End Supply Chain Management
  • Highly disciplined in data and documentation management
  • Highly skilled in Excel
