Sales Compensation Claims Analyst

This role has been designated as 'Office', which means you will primarily work from an HPE office.

Develops, implements and deploys process and tools related to calculation of sales commissions. Ensures accuracy and timeliness of commission payments as outlined in the plan and in accordance to policy. Calculates commission/incentive award payments to sales employees based on commission plan provisions. Investigates and resolves commission claims and account reconciliation issues.

Interfaces with other job functions in the preparation of Sales commission reports, using reporting and analytics for presentations and recommendations for sales and/or finance management.


Investigate and resolves commission claims identifying the missing credits and communicate to sales reps the reasons if employee is eligible for the credits or not.

Analyze sales reports and interact with others processes to confirm the eligibility of the credits. Understanding on the tools related to Sales Commissions and how the commissions are calculated. Ensure accuracy and timeliness of commission payments as outlined in the sales plan and in accordance to policy.


In a typical day as Sales Compensation Claims Analyst, you would...

  • Collects and consolidates information to support investigation and resolution of commission claims and account reconciliations
  • Reviews information and make changes and updates to data and configuration of sales compensation tools and systems within limited parameters
  • Communicates issues to stakeholders
  • Validate that credits are align to the correct account and confirm that eligible employees are receiving credits and compensated for the sales
  • Know how the compensation systems works and how plans were design to understand how credits flow in the system
  • Calculates the impacts of sales employees sales commissions and payments for less
- to moderately
- complex plans in accordance with plan documentation and established policy

  • Implement specified changes to data and systems to improve data quality and operational efficiency

If you are/have...

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Management or equivalent
  • Typically 02 years experience
  • Basic understanding of sales commission tools, systems and practices
  • Good analytical, statistics and problem solving skills.
  • Basic understanding of sales commission plans and practices
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
