CLINICAL SPECIALIST UROLOGY - MONTERREY

Purpose Statement

Promote company products through education of current & potential customers, and implant within a defined region by providing clinical education for a variety of issues.

Responsible for the day-to-day field execution.


Key Responsibilities

  • Commercial Support: Under light supervision, serve as primary resource for clinical support consisting of tackling a variety of issues relating to troubleshooting, counseling and patient followup for company products.
  • Educate customers on the merits and proper clinical usage of company products by giving presentations and demonstrations using appropriate formats and platforms (e.g., slides, manuals) to keep all customers abreast of the latest BSC products.
  • Attend unit procedures in hospital account labs and operating rooms and follow up with patients to ensure customer and patient success.
  • Team up with Sales Rep to meet existing and potential clients (e.g., physicians, physician office groups at hospitals) to identify their clinical needs, goals, and constraints related to patient care and to discuss and demonstrate how company products can help them to achieve their goals.
  • Keep on developing business relationships with hospital personnel (e.g., through casual conversation, meetings, participation in conferences).
  • Respond to customer needs and complaints regarding products and service by developing creative and feasible solutions or working with other related personnel (e.g., sales, clinical, research, marketing, technical support) to develop optimal solutions.
  • Providing initial and continuous training, education and support for clinical center personnel on clinical trial protocol, clinical process, products and features under investigation, and procedures involving those products and features.

What we are looking for in you:

  • 2+ years relevant business experience.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven analytical, planning and negotiation skills, as well as strategic thinking.
  • High degree of initiative and creativity with the ability to meet deadlines and work with mínimal supervision
  • Position based in Monterrey, responsible for the territory in the North region of Mexico (Nuevo Leon, Coahuila, Tamaulipas)
  • Skills in market analysis, sales and marketing.
  • Responsible for developing, building, and strengthening longterm relationships with stakeholders including healthcare professionals (doctors and hospitals) and distributors.
  • Develops and executes an action plan for each customer.
  • Coordinates with the backoffice team (Customer Service, Operations, Marketing, Finance etc.) to resolve customer requests.
  • English (Advanced level) spoken and written.
  • This position requires 40% to 60% of travel.
Preferred Qualifications

  • Desired Biomedical Engineering degree
  • Medical device experience and/or Urology experience
  • Experience as Clinical Specialist
  • Experience with hospitals and inoffice selling
  • Ability to present value proposition incorporating both financial and clinical impacts
