As an integration engineer, you will join our global, diverse Cloud Software and Services Team. A team which provides industry-leading solutions for Core Networks and Automation, Managed Services, Services Orchestration and Telecom BSS.

A team which enables communications service providers to succeed in their transition to cloud-native software and automated operations as they prepare their networks for the future.


Role Summary


The Integration engineer can be encouraged to analyse, prepare, implement, and verify the configuration and integration of a Node/network / system.

The scope could include the scenarios of Initial configuration, upgrade expansion/functionality and capacity management.


This Job Role is also responsible for the integration, execution, and coordination of the IP projects to ensure that the services provided to customers are timely, on cost and on scope.


A Day in the Life of Integration Engineer and key role objectives:

  • Performing tasks such as monitoring network traffic, analyzing network logs, and identifying issues to track and improve network performance
  • Troubleshooting network issues by identifying the root cause of the problem and developing a plan to resolve it
  • Prepare write technical documents (Method of procedure, Low level documentation, scripting, and acceptance test procedures).
  • Secure the technical functionality and quality of deliveries.
  • Share competence and knowledge with development teams
  • Coordinate and support the configuration/development and Integration Team
  • Hands-On for Trouble-Shooting and problemsolving for development, installation, configuration, integration, testing, and Launch activities
  • Implement the network layout to improve network efficiency

To be successful in the role, you need:

  • To have a business level of English B1-B2 or equivalent.
  • Bachelor of Engineering or related field qualification
  • From 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar technical environment
  • Experience with monitoring and troubleshooting complex network issues
  • Good analytical and problemsolving skills
  • Demonstrate experience crafting multivendor network architectures.
  • Demonstrate an ability to seek problems, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.
  • Demonstrate motivation to learn and constantly improve processes and tools.
  • Ability to demonstrate or have experience working with teams locally and globally.

Technical specification& experience:


  • Cisco CCNA course certification
  • Good knowledge of OSI model
  • Good knowledge of Routing & Switching and basic configuration
  • Knowledge on dynamic routing protocols: BGP, OSPF, ISIS
  • Linux knowledge
  • Moderate experience configuring and troubleshooting L2 networks
  • Basic knowledge and configuration of Juniper routers and switches
  • Cloud Virtualization concepts
  • Juniper JNCIA training
  • Scripting

In addition to the above, if you have the following technical experience, we would love to hear from you:

  • Cisco CCNP certification (desirable)
  • Extreme switches knowledge

The role will also time to time, require you:

  • Able to travel inside Mexico or outside Mexico.
  • To be flexible with working hours as agreed with your lead and team
