What you'll do


We're looking for a Chief of Staff. In this role, you will act as a strategic partner to the CEO, serving as a force multiplier to ensure our mission of modernizing corporate spend management across Latin America is executed with precision. You will sit at the intersection of strategy, operations, and investor relations, driving high-priority initiatives that bridge the gap between vision and departmental execution.

  • Strategic Orchestration: Collaborate directly with the CEO to refine Clara's strategic roadmap, ensuring long-term goals are translated into actionable workstreams across the organization.

  • Investor Relations & Capital Markets: Serve as a key point of contact for our investors, managing high-stakes communications and preparing materials for board meetings and fundraising rounds.

  • Operational Excellence: Audit and optimize internal processes to eliminate friction, ensuring the leadership team operates at peak efficiency.

  • Cross-Functional Leadership: Act as a connective tissue between the CEO and senior leadership, facilitating alignment on key performance metrics and fostering a culture of high ownership.

  • Special Projects: Lead "zero-to-one" initiatives, from market research and geographic expansion to internal restructuring or evaluating new AI-driven product opportunities.

Who you are

Must haves:

  • Proven experience in a strategic role within a high-growth fintech, startup, or top-tier financial services firm.

  • Working proficiency in English and Portuguese.

  • Experience or interest in using AI tools to automate executive workflows and reporting.

  • Strong understanding of investor relations and financial modeling.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to influence C-suite stakeholders and external partners.

  • Adaptability to fast-changing environments and a proven track record of role-specific execution in ambiguous situations.

  • Experience managing complex projects using tools like Google Drive, Slack, and Hubspot.

Nice to haves:

  • MBA from a top-tier institution.

  • Independent analytical skills using Metabase, SQL, or Python to drive data-informed decision-making.

  • Basic proficiency in Spanish or a strong desire to learn it.

Clara's Hybrid Policy


Claridians in a hybrid mode split their time between working from the office, talking to or visiting customers, or working from home. This hits a balance between bringing people together for in-person collaboration and learning from each other, while supporting flexibility about how to do this in a way that makes sense for each individual and team.

We don't enforce a minimum number of days for most roles, but you're expected to spend time at the office organically, and be at the office most days during your ramp-up or when required by your leader.
