Descripción del empleo:

The Supply Chain Head for LACDM (Latin America and Caribbean Distributor Markets) leads the end to end Supply Chain operating trough distributors in +30 markets with +110 Distributors / partners.

Main Activities:


  • Partner with Sales, Marketing and Finance to support the business priorities and develop General Mills brands across all markets in collaboration with Distributors.
  • Lead planning integration with top distributors to improve inventory management, sales and visibility with a CPFR program with Distributors.
  • Manage existing copackers and design the strategy for the future needs of the region
  • Lead process improvement, systems implementation, and performance tracking for the region in collaboration with global partners.
  • Lead innovation for the region

Item creation, production planning, transition planning with the Distributors and overall execution.

  • Lead a Customer Service and Logistics team in charge of order management and logistics for the region and other international customers.
  • Collaborate in all business projects providing functional expertise as part of a cross functional team.
  • Manage the indirect sourcing function according to global sourcing and internal controls principles to serve the region in all categories.
  • Point of contact for Supply Chain, to ensure connection of the region with key areas like
:

Global Trade, Manufacturing, project managers, centers of expertise, etc.

  • Deliver saving targets trough improvement in processes, products, logistics, etc.
  • Develop and Manage the Supply Chain Team in terms of performance, Development Plans (IDP), Talent Retention Plans and Career Plans.
Required experience:


  • 7+ years experience in similar Supply Chain Positions in Multinational Companies
  • Strong experience in Planning, Customer Service and CPFR is necessary.
  • Experience in customer facing roles.
  • Experience working with multifunctional teams in various business environments.
  • Desirable knowledge on Mexico's top retailers replenishment processes and policies. (Walmart, Costco, SAMS, Chedraui, La Comer, Soriana)
  • Excellent communication (Spanish and English) and cross functional working skills.
  • Experience on international trade (imports, exports, customs brokers and freight forwarders) is desired.
