He is responsible for preventive, corrective or predictive maintenance activities as applicable in the J1 paint center (liberty) facilities.

  • Manage assigned maintenance resources in terms of personnel, machinery or as assigned.
  • Monitor and correct problems that arise in machinery or processes and establish solid action plans when the expected performance is not achieved (downtime, quality failures, productivity, etc.).
  • Establishes daily, weekly, monthly or as applicable compliance goals for its technicians and manages the progressive discipline process, always offering advice and guidance when there are disciplinary cases with its team of technicians.
  • Acts as a technical expert and proactively supports other departmental functions with the common goal of achieving the objectives of the site.
  • Maintains close communication with his direct boss, department manager and department coordinators to escalate problems, request support, contribute ideas and cooperate with the department's metrics and tasks.
  • Their communication is respectful, affable and effective between the various levels of the organization. A medium level of English is recommended with the ability to read, write and interpret.
  • Is proficient in the use of computer equipment, common software such as windows, office, google, knowledge of Auto Cad, PLC's, electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical control systems is recommended.
  • Experience in electrostatic painting processes is highly recommended, since it is the primary manufacturing of that site.
  • Solid verifiable experience in supervision / management of technicians and machinery maintenance is requested.
  • A degree in mechatronic, electromechanical, mechanical, electronic, electrical or related engineering is preferred, cases of truncated degree or experience in supervision without a degree but with a verifiable technical career could be considered for interview with prior review of the case.
