Position Summary

Procures the materials needed for production to prevent disruption in production.
Manages material inventory to avoid problems in procurement of material.

Role and Responsibilities

1. [Material inventory management] Assist identifying the current status of the materials retained.

2. [Material usage management] Assist identifying the amount of each material used in each cycle.

3. [Material procurement] Support identifying the supplier of necessary materials and support ordering.

4. [Cost reduction] Assist identifying the material management cost and establishing the cost reduction strategy.

Skills and Qualifications

Has substantial understanding on the job and applies knowledge and skills to complete a wide range of tasks
Works on assignments that are moderately difficult, requiring judgment in resolving issues or in making recommendations
Normally receives little instruction on everyday work and general instructions on newly introduced assignments
Typically requires a minimum 3 years of related experience since TB1
