Position Summary
Execute material planning for purchased components in alignment with the production plan requirements. Utilize MRP to effectively communication schedules and purchase orders to suppliers, follow-up with suppliers daily, manage inventory levels to ensure consistent flow of materials, and provide daily updates to the production planning/master scheduling teams

Responsibilities

Execute material planning to procure raw materials & components
Accountable for inventory levels of set of suppliers/components
Utilize MRP to ensure timely and accurate communication of supplier schedules and/or discrete purchase order releases
Manage the ramp up/ramp down of new products to ensure consistency of delivery and minimization of obsolete inventories
Monitoring PFEP in monthly base to ensure appropriate management of Kanban Boards & MRP planning parameters
Minimize all inbound premium freight
Root cause analysis on all supplier interruptions & develop robust improvement plans to ensure consistency of material flow
Work with other departments and functions to resolve materials issues
Expedite materials and/or any other supply issue according to business needs
Participate and provide support in continuous improvement projects
Maintain good relationships with supplier base to ensure twoway communition

Qualifications

Qualifications

Bachelor Degree in Business Administration, Operations/Production Management, Supply Chain Management or related field
APICS CPIM certification desirable
At least 2 years of Experience in a similar position
Wide knowledge of MRP systems, Materials Planning & Inventory Management
Bilingual English/Spanish
