**This is a Supervisory position that will be responsible for managing a production schedule, technicians and overall performance of designated value stream. You will be responsible for meeting Caterpillar's goals for People, Quality, Velocity and Cost that support a 24/7 operation.

Job Duties / Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

You will be responsible for meeting Caterpillar's goals for People, Quality, Velocity and Cost that support a 24/7 operation.
Key point of contact for numerous operational customers.
Personnel: Up to 25+ team members as direct reports.
Process Maintenance 3rd shift section mgr. for the entire Decatur facility.
Responsible for the safety and technical development of approx. 25 skilled technicians (electricians, mechanics, toolmakers and lubrications professionals).
Accountable for all 3rd shift reactive and proactive maintenance activities associated with facility manufacturing assets that include 95 machines considered critical to facility production.

Basic Qualifications:

Associates degree from an accredited college or university
5+ years manufacturing experience
Advanced English
Strong customer focus and ability to influence
Strong manufacturing and maintenance experience
Ability to quickly understand technology changes and drive advancement within the organization
Knowledge of machine tool operations and general business processes.
