Main Responsibilities:

Plans, coordinates, performs product design, testing and/or analysis work for a complete project of broad scope or for a significant portion or a subsystem of a major and diverse project. Operates in a team environment and may act as lead person, providing technical leadership and design solutions. May assign, coordinate and review portions of the work to other engineers and support personnel. Provides technical consultation and a knowledge base. Recognized as an expert across a product line.

What Skills You Need:

Knowledge on structural/ chassis design.
Analyzes assignments and determines engineering specifications which must be fulfilled for complex problems or projects of moderate scope.
Performs as expert user of 3D Computer Aided Design (CAD) system with considerable experience in Top Down design work for complex 3D engineering models and components.
Compiles and furnishes necessary information (engineering decisions and reports of pertinent design analyses data) to document the design solution required for building of prototypes and adoption of the design with possible involvement of other functional engineers, supply management and/or supplier personnel.
Provides technical support to marketing, product support, manufacturing, quality and supply management organizations.
Develops and/or executes test or analysis plan for product verification and validation.
Leads in resolution of productline based difficult technical issues whether within the company or with outside suppliers.
Knowledge of the Enterprise Product Delivery Process (EPDP).

What Makes You Stand Out:

Technical skill and knowledge in FEA analysis.
Skill in using company information systems and processes as SAP, Node (structures), and MMI design tool.
Knowledge in engineering principles, theory and practice as well as product knowledge on chassis design and casting design.
Understanding of engineering principles as they relate to the company product.
Fundamental understanding of machine forms relevant to the specific job assignment and Company division/unit. Knowledge/familiarity with machines manufactured by competitors.

Education:

Mechatronic Engineer, Mechanical Engineer, Materials Engineer, or other similar.
