    Job Title:
    Director Permits
    Position PurposeLead and direct the team in charge to ensure that our current and future stores in Mexico comply with local regulations to operate in each location avoiding any possibly delay or suspension related to this matter.
    Primary Accountabilities
    • Develops and implements strategies, procedures to ensure and verify all required licenses for new stores and existing are obtained and compliant, and performed consistently with FCPA, Mexico anti corruption laws and AutoZone policies.
    • Directs ongoing administration for ensure that the processes and activities of the Permits Department are efficiently focused on obtaining municipal, state or federal permits according to the schedule of new store openings and ensuring the annual updating of all existing permits for each store.
    • Directs all reporting and analysis for identifies opportunities, implements and monitors the processes of new permits and updating of these.
    • Manage annual budget for permit rights (taxes), vendor honoraries and studies.
    • Directs the implementation of action plans to guarantee any delay in the opening of new stores and ensure the achievement of objectives.
    • Establishes new connections with authorities and organizations to provide promptly updates and issues regarding permits.

    Education & ExperienceLevel of Formal Education:
    A Bachelor's degree (BA, BS) or equivalent

    Area of Study:

    Law, AdministrationYears of Experience:
    More than seven years

    Type of Experience:
    More 10 years in Experience in permitting process and construction laws, Permits Issue, Lobbying with authorities. Retail experience preferred.


    Special Certifications or Technical Skills:
    Administrative Law, Permit Process, Budget Administration
