Main Responsibilities:


  • Perform Structural analysis to support conceptual/preliminary/detailed design of Construction & Forestry machines using various analysis and simulation software.
  • Prepare analysis approach for the design problems/field failure issues, along with performance criteria, by seeking all available information and using engineering principles.
  • Perform hand calculations to verify the accuracy or to predict outcomes to increase confidence in results wherever applicable.
  • Obtain correlation with field/experimental data when field/experimental data is available.
  • Compile analysis results into a form that can be easily interpreted and understood by other stakeholders (Design, Test, Product support).
  • Schedule and lead analysis reviews to share results with stakeholders. During these meetings, share machine knowledge, understanding of the problem and tentative solutions to the current problematics.
  • Propose feasible optimized design solutions to meet acceptance criteria and to improve cost, weight targets.
  • Responsible for the timeline of the projects executed individually and with the help of team members.
  • Acknowledge personal failures as well as achievements. Solicit feedback from stakeholders.

What Skills You Need:


  • Experience in performing Structural Analysis, Optimization & Durability Assessment of steel components
  • Experience in performing Structural Test Data Analysis (Loads & Strain) & FEA Correlation
  • Prior experience with any of the following FEA modeling tools: Ansys WB, Hypermesh
  • Prior experience with any of the following FEA solvers: Ansys WB, Optistruct, Abaqus
  • Metal Fatigue & Durability Assessment
  • Good communication skills to collaborate with various engineering groups such as Product Design and PV&V
  • Efficient teamwork capabilities
  • Fluent conversation and technical English language

  • Agricultural or Construction Equipment products knowledge.
  • Knowledge of FEA and data processing software
  • Proven strong collaboration with multidisciplinary engineering teams.
  • Knowledge on testing and instrumentation.
  • Knowledge with CAD software
  • Highly motivated self learning

Education:

Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering or similar
