    Production Planning and Inventory Control Specialist

    In this role, you will be responsible for planning activities related to production schedule creation and maintenance, material ordering, vendor management, receiving, and inventory control to meet customer requirements.

    Key Responsibilities:

    1. Schedule Optimization: Plan and coordinate the physical movement of materials, parts, finished goods, and information to ensure optimization of cost and service level.
    2. Work Flow Coordination: Schedule and coordinate the flow of work within or between departments to facilitate or expedite production.
    3. Work Order Distribution: Distribute work orders to departments denoting number, type, and proposed completion date.
    4. Progress Monitoring: Compile reports on progress of work and machine, tool, and equipment failures to inform on production delays.
    5. Material Requirements Planning: Carry out MRP run to explode customer requirements and generate requirements to suppliers.
    6. Material Availability: Schedule, track, and ensure the availability of materials for production.
    7. Corrective Actions: Develop corrective actions in case of deviation.
    8. Risk Monitoring: Monitor and alert about potential risks in the supply chain that could affect the timely flow of components to the plant.
    9. Inventory Management: Monitor and control inventory levels and coverage of the components in charge.
    10. Production Scheduling: Develop and maintain production schedules to ensure timely and efficient manufacturing processes. Coordinate with various departments to align production plans with demand forecasts and inventory levels.
    11. Analysis and Reporting: Analyze production data and key performance indicators to identify trends, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement. Provide actionable insights and recommendations to enhance productivity and reduce costs.
    12. Regular Reporting: Prepare and present regular reports on production performance, inventory status, and other relevant metrics.
    13. Schedule Updates: Update and maintain weekly production schedule by line and schedule attainment, complete weekly cycle counts accurately, and maintain repetitive schedules to the latest revisions.
    14. Receiving Inspection: Manage receipt of material at receiving entry accuracy in MRP system and ensure proper receiving inspection quality checks are performed in accordance with the product's process control plan.

    Requirements:

    • Technical Skills: Knowledge of MS Office programs.
    • Data Analysis: Ability to analyze and assess data and make projections based on historical data.
    • Accuracy and Attention to Detail: Accuracy and attention to detail.
    • Organizational Skills: Highly organized.
    • Problem-Solving: Ability to identify urgent or emerging problems, develop alternative corrective actions, and implement.
    • Education and Experience: Industrial Engineering, Mechanic, or related career. Experience in a similar position (at least 3 years).
    • Language Proficiency: Advanced English.
    • Other Requirements: 8 Ds, Teamwork, Tactical Planning.
